He and the family are currently enjoying a visit to Nashville and writing songs for his new recording project. LET IT RAIN 2008 was a very busy year for Steve with performances, touring, recording and moving. The Prayer Song from the CD "Steve Rain and Friends: Let It Rain" won the 2008 Country/Bluegrass Song of the Year at GMA Canada's 30th Annual Covenant Awards in Calgary on October 24, 2008.
